    Hello Cube Followers,

    I just made a small update to correct the last bugs and make the necessary level corrections.
    Next month (September), I will start to make more and more public annoucements about the game, so meanwhile I am looking for all possible feedback.

    Level Changes

    With everyone feedback, I started to change levels.

    According to both one on one feedback and ingame survey feedback, the game seems to please a lot of people.
    Thanks to all those of you who filled the ingame levels survey, and the ones who took the time to gave feedback on Skype and other chats.

    When the "Player Happiness" (average of Difficulty, Interest and Fun) reaches 1, it means the level is perfect

    Huge downward spikes (such as the too easy Level 35-The 9th Spirale) indicate that the level has a problem. It can be due do the level itself (a really unecessary Rune, a bad description for a Rune, etc), or the fact that the level is not at the right place.
    It's harder to tell for last levels, which have less players but a few questions generally clarify the situation. And so, a "too hard" level followed by a "too easy" level are simply swapped to improve both levels at the same time.

    All modified levels:

    Blue background: order of the level is changed
    Red number: level itself is modified

    • Level 7-The Edges, new version
    • Level 23-Old Columns, toolbar, remove some useless Runes
    • Level 25-The Old Screen, DNA, add more Rune
    • Level 27-Along the Gate, DNA, remove Crystal Brown Rune
    • Level 31-Old Mirror, new DNA
    • Level 32-Old Tower, toolbar, replace Move Forward by Motor+Relative Forward
    • Level 35-The 9th Spirale, DNA, less runes
    • Level 44-The Pit, new version
    The auto updater will automatically download the new Level Cards, and the game will automatically choose the most recent versions.
    The same goes for the Histograms, which will display data relative to the new levels only.


    Loading Bar

    The game now features a Loading Bar at launch.

    I put as many calculations as possible during this step, so later loadings (such as launching the Campaign) are faster.
    Cache folders are still integrated directly in the archive to speed up everything.

    On Linux, I still have to figure out where the Cache folders are, but this version has more information output to find it.


    Gameplay Changes

    - The game now has a Speed x4 option (so we have x1, x2 and x4 Speed)

    Minor Changes
    • Game Version, upgrade digits: from v00.05.00.11a to v00.05.11.01


    Bugs and Glitches corrections

    Bugs
    • Runes, Directions, BUG, Correction : Runes used to move and rotate (Motor / Move, Change Direction, Change Referer, Rotate Direction and Rotate Referer) do nothing and stops their branch execution when they have no direction rune, instead of launching red errors
    • Linux, Max FPS BUG, Correction : VSYNC is activated on all quality settings to avoid the BUG, instead of being activated only on high quality settings accessible only with line commands options

    Glitches
    • DNA Mode, Executing, Toolbar, GLITCH, Correction : big tooltips stay invisible like the buttons, instead of being displayed
    • DNA Mode, DNA, CTRL+Click Left, Ghost, GLITCH, Correction : the ghost appears always at the right place instead of sometimes appearing at the bottom left of the DNA

    Typos and descriptions
    • Rune, Move Relative Back, TYPO, correction : "move to its relative back" instead of "move to its relative front"
    • Tutorial, TYPO, correction : "Move right" instead of "Mode right"
    • Rune, Change Direction, better definition
